This bench is one of kind and made with care, love and respect. I personally handpick each slab of live edge cedar, looking for the most character in the wood. In person this bench is inspiring and emotional, it is definitely an everlasting tribute to a loved one.
Please keep in mind that it costs me up to $1,000 to ship a bench(especially the East coast), $500 SHIPPING CREDIT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE and I would bill you for any additional cost. Bench is available in 4' and 5' lengths and is 3' tall. Bench seat is 3 or 4 feet long respectively and approximately 18" wide depending on slab of wood. Each bench is built to order, so if you would like the size to be a little different or have a request, please reach out to me.
Bench seat and back made from a single piece of live edge cedar, planed and sanded to a smooth finish and sealed with epoxy and then 5 layers of clear semi gloss polyurethane. Legs and armrest are made from premium outdoor cedar to last through the seasons, lightly stained with Early American and sealed with 3 coats of polyurethane.
Personalization is engraved and painted black to honor your loved one forever.
Price includes engraving similar to photo, additional engraving is available for added fee, please contact me first.
I will send you a proof for approval before engraving.
Normal build time is 3-4 weeks, for $250 extra I will rush your order BUT please verify with me first to confirm that its possible at the time.

Words are simply inadequate to express how much I love the bench Jim made in memory of my mom. It far exceeds my expectations in craftsmanship, it is unique and one of a kind, the wood is absolutely beautiful, and the images & words capture exactly what I wanted to convey. It's bittersweet that my mom isn't here to see it because I know she would have loved it as much as I do. I am so grateful for such a meaningful reminder of her.

If there were more then 5 stars ⭐️ I would have given more !!!!!! I can’t even explain how amazing this experience was ..but I’m gonna try !!! I ordered a bench for a friend who’s 21 year old son died suddenly ...I felt a sense of urgency to do something special for her ..cause I live in NY & she’s in CA & because of Covid there would be no funeral . He rushed the order for me ...completed and shipped it within 2 weeks of me placing order ! My friend recieved it today & loved it and appreciated it more then I can accurately articulate !! The workman ship...artistry ...attention to detail & customer service was amazing and the best I’ve ever had on Etsy ...actually one of the best ever anywhere !!worth every dollar !!
